Starting as youngsters eight or nine years ago, the five friends seemingly hit in big in 2000 when they won the Seminar in the Rockies (now GMA in the Rockies) talent competition. The band was off to a great start, but it took over five years before they finally landed the Inpop Records contract. Along the way they grew up and matured as a band and as Christian men. Now, with Inpop's release of Let's Not Forget The Story, Foolish Things brings their brand of Brit-flavored pop rock to the masses. Taking their name from Scripture (1 Corinthians 1:27), the band isn't seeking merely to entertain their fans with positive music (although they accomplish that); rather, they want to encourage Christians in their faith and reach out to those in need of Jesus Christ. Let's Not Forget the Story recalls the band's influences (Jimmy Eat World, U2, Switchfoot) while branching out in entirely new sonic directions.
